Joelle Raymond Mourad

Joelle Raymond Mourad, Lebanese born in 1962, suffers from cerebral palsy. When she was younger, she worked as a teacher for a while, before she received a disability card from the Ministry of Social Affairs. On August 4, 2020, she was sitting in a coffee shop in Gemmayze when a concrete wall fell over her shoulder and hand. She also tripped on the rubble and broke her leg. Joelle’s physical, hearing, and speech conditions are difficult. She also has problems in her eyes and needs glaucoma surgery, in addition to other eye interventions caused by her diabetes.
