Abdelrahim is a 1981-born chef working at Slate Bistro Grill in Gemmayze. On August 4, 2020, he fractured his right elbow as a result of the blast, causing severe muscle atrophy in his arm. He underwent intensive physical therapy for six months to recover his abilities as a kitchen chef. Today, he still suffers from numbness and pain in his arm during night-time.
