Mahmoud started his own company from scratch. On August 4, 2020, he asked his staff to leave early, and he stayed behind to prepare a couple of invoices in his office facing the port of Beirut. When the explosion happened, Mahmoud was hurt and he was evacuated to the hospital. Unfortunately, he passed away shortly after.
