Therese was a nurse and she was one of the founders of the intensive care unit at the hospital she worked for. She traveled to France and worked in the humanitarian field and received the French nationality. She came back to Lebanon after her retirement; on August 4, 2020, Therese was with her sisters at home when the explosion happened. A ceiling light fixture collapsed on her head and she was killed immediately.
