Therese, a widow, was a nurse at the Karantina Governmental Hospital, and she rented a small apartment nearby. On August 4, 2020, she wanted to check the fire that erupted at the port of Beirut, suddenly, the explosion happened and she was killed on her building’s staircase. Her brother ran to find her, but she had already passed away.
