Antoine was socially active and served in multiple positions throughout his life. He was the president of Rotary Club twice, the vice-president of Hammana municipality, and one of the founders of the “Club Touristique Hammana”. On August 4, 2020, he was visiting his nephew at Saint George University Hospital when the explosion happened. Shards of glass hit his neck and he passed away. In honor of his life, Rotary Clubs decided to fund the reconstruction of the maternity ward at Saint George University Hospital, in his name.
