Isaac’s family settled in Lebanon after his mother’s appointment at the ESCWA-Beirut Office. On August 4, 2020, he was home nearby the port of Beirut, eating dinner in his high chair, when the explosion happened. Windows shattered and he sustained severe chest injuries. Isaac was evacuated to the hospital, but his heart stopped beating and he died in the Operations Room.
