Ziad was born in Beirut, he grew up with five siblings. He studied hospitality techniques in a vocational institute, and trained in one of Lebanon’s most prestigious hotels.

Ziad was in his thirties, married to Rima Osseiran, and they had a son, Youssef (2.8)… Youssef who still doesn’t understand his father’s fate and keeps asking for him…

Ziad worked overtime to make some extra income to improve his economic situation, and when his coworker asked him for help, he obliged without a complaint. He completed the delivery and was on his way back near Audi Bank – Tabariss area, when a warehouse exploded in the Port of Beirut.  Ziad’s leg was injured. He pulled himself and crawled towards the sidewalk where he found a rock and used it as a pillow. One of his coworkers was in a nearby area, and took him to Jeitawi Hospital… His wife and family arrived to the hospital. His brother Anas looked for him among dead bodies, while his wife and other brother went to the operating room; a doctor informed them that he passed away.

A few months after the explosion, a music video featured Ziad’s photo in a pool of blood, but unfortunately, he couldn’t be saved…

Before his death, the family was planning his brother’s engagement. The party treats his father had bought for the engagement were distributed in his funeral…
