Ayoub Al Jounee

Ayoub Jouni, Lebanese, born in 1957, was on the Beirut Ring Bridge on his way to work when the explosion happened and he was injured. His left leg was amputated, and his right leg was completely paralyzed. He also sustained retinal bleeding and hearing loss in his right ear.
After the amputation of his left leg, Ayoub Al-Jouni suffered greatly from inflammation in his right foot. Despite taking anti-inflammatory medication, his foot developed gangrene, which required an urgent amputation before it negatively affected his life.
However, efforts to secure the cost of the operation failed, forcing him to travel to Syria, where he breathed his last in November 2022.
