Charbel Mandas is a Lebanese 12-year-old who suffers from genetic osteoporosis, just like his father and grandfather. On August 4, 2020, Charbel was home in Sin El-Fil and he was injured by the explosion; he broke his shoulder and hip, but his family could not afford treatment costs and he was treated at home by both his mother and grandmother.
