Joseph worked at a shipping company at the port of Beirut. On August 4, 2020, he called his wife and told her he would leave in ten minutes to go home, but this slight delay cost him his life, and as soon as he hung up, the explosion happened, and a pole hit his head causing his death. His dead body was found at Rafic Hariri University Hospital.
