On August 4, 2020, Hamza, a Lebanese Army Soldier, was helping put out the fire at the port of Beirut when the warehouse exploded before his eyes. His body was burnt, and it was torn to pieces. Officials crossed his mother’s DNA with human remains found on the scene to confirm his identity. His mother could not survive his death and she died three months later.
