Joe started working at the grains silos at the port of Beirut in 2015. On August 4, 2020, he was on the roof filming the fire at warehouse number 12 and texting his family, but when the explosion happened, the connection was lost. Joe was missing for the next four days. His family identified his body on August 8 through his clothes and wedding band.
